Born & raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, DJ Kaptain has already built an incredible résumé through his first decade as a DJ. His career gained momentum during his matriculation at The Mecca, Howard University, where he served as a DJ for the student radio station, WHBC, live sporting events, the biggest parties on & off campus, and the official DJ for 2015 homecoming. After graduating in 2016 with a B.A. in Audio Production, he went on to become a radio DJ at WPGC 95.5, secure multiple residencies at the hottest nightclubs in Washington, D.C. and provide his services for notable clients such as Nike and Pepsi. Now located in Los Angeles, DJ Kaptain is emerging as a credible music producer while DJing for new clients such as Shopify, King Bach, Saweetie, and The SpringHill Company.
